In an effort to regenerate its chicken-eating base, the outlet has hired one of the most notorious Popeyes Chicken advocates in the world, Jackie Hill Perry.
Perry made her debut on social media in 2012 after she announced that the parmesan garlic sauce from Popeyes Chicken was “AMAZING.”
Since then, she’s been the face of Popeyes’ social media presence on Twitter calling the “Chick Fil A” vs “Popeyes” thing a “marketer’s dream.”
After her latest shill for Popeyes, Dan Cathey, CEO of contacted Perry to see if she would be interested in a high-paying position to market Chick-fil-A’s sandwiches to her base. Reportedly, she has accepted the offer.
